
About AARC: Vision for AARC's Future
- Bring in more foster children into our home (we'd like to have a minimum of ten children at a time)
- Host more camps for children's shelters, youth groups and other civic organizations
- Have shows, camps and lessons pertaining to horses
- Hiring a staff: secretary, barn manager, event coordinator, lawn maintenance, and house parents
- Add more facilities to the farm, such as an arena, round pen, bridges, an obstacle course, and more trails for horseback riding and hiking
- Acquire more farm animals (llama, pig, donkey, etc.)
- Add an outdoor facility for camping and other recreational events
- Inviting the 4-H, Boy Scouts, Eagle Scouts, etc. for annual events
- Add two more gardens
- Enclose and build up chicken coop, and acquire more variety of birds (doves, turkeys, etc.) as well as increase our number of chickens
- Enclosed recreational area
- Larger playground
- Rebuild barn adding stalls, a tack area and an office
- Acquire the nine acres adjoining the property (that's presently owned by the county) for horse trails
- Build a parking area (across the street from the barn)
- Start a Montessori School for the children
- Beautify the property by adding a nice archway and sign at the house and farm entrance, adding a serene place with a gazebo and a waterfall, adding more flowers and cutting down (and selling) all the pine trees, and adding more fruit trees
- Set up missionary youth teams to visit third-world countries and minister to other hurting children
